Sismo en Puerto Vallarta

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit Mexico on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, and tremors were felt in Mexico City. There were no immediate reports of damage in the city, Mexico City mayor Miguel Angel Mancera said on Twitter, although there were some disruptions to the electricity supply. A Reuters witness said buildings shuddered in the city. The quake was 20 miles (32 km) south of the central Mexican town of Santa Rosa Treinta, the USGS said. Sismo en Puerto Vallarta


Hasta el momento no se reportan daños, pese a que el Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) informó sobre un movimiento telúrico de magnitud 4.9 al suroeste de Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

A través de Twitter el organismo nacional escribió:

“SISMO Magnitud 4.9 Loc 143 km al SUROESTE de PUERTO VALLARTA, JAL 09/12/17 06:21:43 Lat 19.66 Lon -106.16 Pf 16 km”.

Debido a que fue a las 6:21 horas el sismo en aquel lugar, esto provocó que familias salieran a las calles a fin de resguardarse.
